There will be road closures in place on the A483 next week for essential repairs.

The works will take place on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 between J6 Gresford and J7 Rossett.

It is proposed that the work being done is 'essential carriageway surfacing repairs'.

The A483 between Gresford and Rossett has had several issues over the last 18 months, with lengthy works being completed, only to have to be redone.

To allow for the works to be completed next week, there will be an overnight road closure in place.

On Monday, the southbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm to 6am, while on Tuesday the northbound carriageway will be closed from 8pm to 6am.

Traffic and motorists will be diverted through Gresford and Marford, with residents being warned that this could result in a higher-than-usual level of noise at intervals.
