WREXHAM'S famous owners took to social media to express their delight as the Reds left it late to win at Oldham Athletic.

Phil Parkinson's side came from 1-0 down late on to beat the Latics 2-1 at Boundary Park.

That dramatic victory - secured by a 95th minute Paul Mullin penalty - also saw Wrexham move to the top of the National League table.

Unsurprisingly, that win also left co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney feeling relieved.

And the support for the club was once again astonishing too, with over 2,500 Wrexham fans in attendance.

Deadpool star Ryan was seemingly left needing a cocktail after such an intense end to the match!

He described it as 'completely out of hand' and added a little cocktail emoji to go with it.

Meanwhile, club co-owner and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia icon Rob also took to Twitter to express his views.

He wrote: "Guess the documentary hasn't been a distraction. #Upthe town."

Rob and Ryan's takeover journey is currently being told through the gripping Welcome to Wrexham documentary.

Released two episodes at a time every Thursday via Disney Plus, the documentary also shines a spotlight on the die-hard Wrexham fans within the community.
