Wrexham Council is looking forward to revealing its plans for the upcoming World Cup.

Wales qualified for their first World Cup in 64 years, after beating Ukraine in the play-off final in Cardiff.

The campaign gets underway in Qatar on November 20, with Wales set to play their first game against USA a day later.

Fan zones in Wrexham have been heavily discussed following the magnificent scenes on the High Street during Euro 2016.

Three have already been confirmed for the competition, with the Turf hosting one, while the council will have two.

He added: "This is excellent news for the proposed new Football Museum for Wales in Wrexham.

"We look forward to bringing you news of the events that are planned which will be part of the overall celebrations of the Wales team competing in the World Cup at the end of the year.
