THE first Denbigh and Flint Show in three years was held on Thursday (August 19) and saw crowds come together in competitions and displays in all things farming.
After being unable to hold the event due to the pandemic, the popular event hosted a range of shows and parades after the gates opened at 8:30 am.
The first event of the day was showjumping, and the Attkinson Horses, who have trained horses and riders for 20 years for Film & TV held two shows.
There was also a parade of tractors, a parade of cars, an the grand parade of prize winners.

The day was cloudy and visitors were recommended to take an umbrella with them to The Green in Denbigh.
Historically, the show has been held at The Green since 1990, with an agreement with Mr EMW Griffith to use part of the Ty Newydd Estate.

However, over the years the show has been held all over the Counties of Flintshire, which at the time included Wrexham, and in Denbighshire. The show had even settled for a period on the edge of Rhyl.
