Today sees long awaited and much anticipated return of the Denbigh and Flint Show.

The popular event has been missing from our calendars for three years as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Here we take a dip into the Free Press archives at the social occasion full of competition, displays and local fayre.

The spotlight shines on the show back in 1983, held that year in Rhyl.
