Andrew said it was the success of his chicken wings that inspired him to embark on his very first business venture.

He added: "The fried chicken business is so much more than late night or fast food, this isn't fast it's great food. People can expect a perfect balance in flavours in our wings and burgers, it's a huge scene in some cities and a big ambition of mine to deliver a similar product to Wrexham."

As well as chicken wings, it will be offering fried chicken burgers, topped fries and what Andrew describes as "something a little special" - Chinese salt and pepper hash browns.

The Wing King will be open Tuesday to Saturdays, 10.30am to 5pm - but will be open later when there are evening events on at Ty Pawb.
