A NEW toyshop looks set to open its doors in Wrexham.
Smyths Toys Superstores has submitted an application to Wrexham Council regarding illuminated signage on the front of an empty unit on Island Green retail park.

The chain, which has over 100 stores across the UK, wants to open in the former Argos, which has been vacant since the pandemic.
The application submitted to Wrexham Council seeks approval for the installation of signage on the empty shop through until at least June 2027.
The application will be considered by Wrexham Council at a later date.
