WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "I am sure you had thoughts of murdering Lauren for a long time - well over a year before you did."
Llangollen man jailed for threatening behaviour at pharmacy
NAME: Paul Taylor
AGE: 33
CRIME: Threatening behaviour and criminal damage
SENTENCE: Jailed for 12 weeks

NAME: Scott Langford
AGE: 31
CRIME: Possession of a knife, driving while disqualified and without relevant insurance, as well as failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis without reasonable excuse.
SENTENCE: Jailed for 26 weeks

NAME: Stefern Goode
CRIME: Attempted robbery and firearm offences
SENTENCE: Custodial sentence of three-and-a-half years
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: “Small stores in which lone females often work are targets. You were out in the early hours of the morning carrying out what could have been a terrifying attack."
Man who led police on high speed car chase around Flintshire has been jailed
NAME: Jordan Matthews
AGE: 20
CRIME: Dangerous driving and other motoring offences as well as possession of a controlled class B drug.
SENTENCE: Ten month custodial sentence at a young offenders institute
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: Judge Recorder Booth QC said Matthews was a ‘significant risk to other road users’ and had deliberately thrown items out of his car at police.

NAME: Luke Wallis
AGE: 25
CRIME: Possessing an offensive weapon, affray and assault
SENTENCE: 16 months custody
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "You're clearly a young man who can pose a significant danger when you lose your temper."
Wrexham drug dealer who 'hid from police in shed' is jailed
NAME: Christopher George William Pounder
AGE: 36
CRIME: Aggravated vehicle taking, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and cannabis, as well as being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
SENTENCE: Jailed for five years
Flintshire man jailed for breaching sexual harm prevention order
NAME: Jacob Paul Butler
AGE: 22
CRIME: Breach of sexual harm prevention order
SENTENCE: Two year custodial sentence
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: There was a prohibition that you not delete the internet history - you were well aware of that."
Jail for Wrexham dad who 'repeatedly' met schoolgirl at hotel for sex
NAME: Mahmut Icer
AGE: 43
CRIME: Convicted by a jury of eight counts including causing or inciting a girl under 16 to engage in sexual activity and penetrative sexual activity with a girl under 16.
SENTENCE: Jailed for seven-and-a-half years.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "I see absolutely no evidence of remorse on your part, or indeed any understanding of just how wrong your behaviour was."

CRIME: Possession of cocaine with intent to supply as well as producing cannabis.
SENTENCE: Jailed for four years.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "You were playing an important role in spreading the misery of drugs and all of its associated problems in mid Wales.”

AGE: 31
CRIME: Assault
SENTENCE: Two year custodial sentence, to be served in addition to his ongoing jail time.
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: “Within months of being imprisoned for robbery, you used a weapon to cause serious injury to a fellow inmate. It was a cowardly attack. You’d clearly planned it and lay in wait.”

WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: "This was a campaign of burglary. There was a significant degree of planning and you went equipped. "These offences have had significant impact for the victims."
Shotton man jailed after attacking vulnerable woman with her own walking stick
NAME: Jake Moody
AGE: 21
CRIME: Assault by beating and criminal damage.
SENTENCE: 21 months imprisonment
WHAT THE JUDGE SAID: Judge Rowlands said Moody had been "remarkably lucky" as the charge of common assault, in his view was "wrong."
