Wrexham Symphony Orchestra - May 4

Antonín Dvořák is known for his powerful and melodic works blending Bohemia folk music with classical forms.

Featuring the principal cellist of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Richard Harwood, the programme includes Dvořák Cello Concerto and Dvořák Symphony No. 7. The conductor for the performance will be Leon Bosch and soloist Richard Harwood (Cello).

Tom Davis - May 5

Sweet, sweet soul Tom Davis is best known for hit shows King Gary, The Curse, Murder In Successville, Live At The Apollo and his hugely popular podcast Wolf and Owl with Romesh Ranganathan.

He is embarking on his biggest tour to date with his brand-new show, Underdog coming to Wrexham on May, 5.

Tom will be exploring life as the longshot. From leaving school with no qualifications to years working on building sites, all the way to the difficult road to fatherhood, acting in blockbuster films and yet still being told he’s punching by a waiter.

Steeleye Span - May 7

Music lovers won’t want to miss Steeleye Span on May, 7. This band has changed the face of folk music over their 55 years together.

Steeleye Span's new album the Green Man Collection brings together tracks from recent releases with new versions of three classics, including a reworking of Hard Times featuring Status Quo’s Francis Rossi. They play their first live dates of the year in support, as ever performing a selection of songs from across the years and firm fan favourites.

A Country Night in Nashville - May 11

On May, 11 A Country Night in Nashville will recreate the scene of a buzzing honky tonk in downtown Nashville, perfectly capturing the energy and atmosphere of an evening in the home of country music.

Author and TV presenter Simon Reeve's will be on the stage on May, 16 as one of the world’s most adventurous travellers.

His unique brand of documentary filmmaking combines travel and adventure with current affairs, history, wildlife, culture and conservation.

On his new UK tour Simon will offer stories, surprises, thrills, deeper thoughts and hearty laughs. He wants to nudge and encourage audiences to get out of their comfort zone, take a few gentle risks in life, and embrace the great outdoors and the Hurricanes.

The ultimate Swingin’ 60s show featuring the greatest hits of comes to Wrexham this May performed by award-winning guitarists Gary Murphy, along with his multi-talented band.
