WREXHAM AFC has shared a new advert for one of its official sponsors after fans were quick to speculate about the mysterious filming at the Turf last week.

While many thought it was for the award-winning docu-series 'Welcome to Wrexham', it has now been revealed the filming was for an advert for AFC sponsor STōK Cold Brew Coffee.

Showing the Turf in the aftermath of the recent back-to-back promotion celebrations, the club shared the advert on social media earlier today with the caption "When the party winds down, the cold brew perks up."

STōK Cold Brew Coffee, one of America's largest and fastest-growing cold brew coffee brands, became an official club sponsor in July 2023.

Introducing the news, co-chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney said: “We wanted a stadium sponsor that captured the vitality and energy of Wrexham Association Football Club while also, like Welsh, being a bit of a learning experience to say.

"STōK Cold Brew Coffee fit the bill perfectly. We’re incredibly excited and a little over-caffeinated.”

Capturing many of the shots for the new advert was Eastwood Drones Ltd.

A spokesperson for the company said: "The company were contacted to shoot some aerial footage of the Wrexham Stadium and The Turf hotel for an advert they made for STōK Cold Brew Coffee.

While STōK doesn’t sell cold brew in the UK, STōK is as invested in Wrexham’s success as it is in cold brew coffee.

At their core, Wrexham and STōK are truly kindred spirits as well as local favourites that are growing rapidly in popularity and gaining global audiences.
