WREXHAM'S winless run continued and the struggling Reds also find themselves in the National League relegation zone.

Yesterday's 1-0 defeat at Aldershot, who scored the only goal in the fourth minute of injury time, meant Wrexham are without a victory in seven league games and they dropped into the bottom four as AFC Fylde - tomorrow's opponents at Mill Farm - won against Eastleigh in the evening game.

Under-fire manager Bryan Hughes, given the dreaded vote of confidence by the club's board of directors last week, saw his side create some good chances at The Recreation Ground but they went begging and it proved costly as fellow strugglers Aldershot struck a last-gasp winner.

Here's how the players rated.

CHRISTIAN DIBBLE: Made a couple of saves of note when Aldershot did create chances before the late blow. 6

MARK CARRINGTON: Put in a couple of telling crosses that weren't put away by team-mates. 6

SHAUN PEARSON: Solid at the back but Aldershot kept going to the end and snatched a last-gasp winner. 6

MICHAEL CHAMBERS: Dealt with the Shots front-line well enough, although the Reds switched off at the end. 6

JAMES JENNINGS: Got forward to support attacks and had two chances with a couple of headers falling wide. 6

AKIL WRIGHT: Had a superb first half chance to put Wrexham ahead but it was saved. 5 ADAM BARTON: Showed some neat touches and was good on the ball in the first half. 6

LUKE YOUNG: Lively and didn't shirk responsibility, certainly showed some fight on another disappointing afternoon. 6

BOBBY GRANT: Didn't really impose himself on the game and wasted Wrexham's best chance. 5

JASON OSWELL: Worked hard as the target-man and put himself about. 6

MARK HARRIS: Like Grant, he just didn't make a big enough impact in the front three. 5

BEN TOLLITT: Unable to affect proceedings following introduction. 4

PAUL RUTHERFORD: Gave it a go as usual. 4

LUKE SUMMERFIELD: Late replacement for a tiring Barton. 4
