SAM RICKETTS insists tonight's FA Cup first round draw won't affect how he approaches the rematch with Harrogate Town.

Wrexham drew 0-0 against their fellow National League high-fliers on Saturday with the replay taking place at The Racecourse tomorrow night.

The draw for the first round takes place this evening but Ricketts is just focused on beating Harrogate.

"I want to win the game, it makes no difference who we get in the next round," said Ricketts.

"Obviously the draw tonight might put added significance on the game or not but either way I still want to win the game and get into that first round."

Wrexham will be aiming to reach Round One for the first time in four seasons.

"All I would say is which way do you want the draw to go," added Ricketts.

"Do you want a really big team and get like a Sunderland at The Racecourse which would be a great game, or would you like a lesser team as such - no disrespect to anyone - but you think you can possibly get through to the second round.

"Both games have pros and cons but first and foremost we need to win our game and see what happens then."

The first round draw takes place from 7pm on BBC Two with Wrexham and Harrogate ball number 56.
