KIERAN KENNEDY has turned down the offer of a new contract at Wrexham.
The centre-back, who joined the Reds in January after leaving Shrewsbury Town, made 11 appearances during his spell at The Racecourse, scoring two goals.
Meanwhile, Wrexham manager Bryan Hughes remains in talks with player of the season Rob Lainton who has also been offered a new contract, while left-back James Jennings has been given more time to consider his future due to a family bereavement.
Luke Summerfield has also been offered a new deal but the midfielder picked up an injury during the play-off eliminator defeat against Eastleigh on May 2 and is being assessed by the club's medical team "prior to a conclusion of his contract talks with the club".
