BRYAN HUGHES has bolstered his squad with the addition of goalkeeper Luke Simpson.

The 24-year-old stopper, who has signed until the end of the season, started his career at Oldham Athletic before moving to Leicester City on-loan.

He counts Watford, Accrington Stanley, York City and Macclesfield Town as former clubs.

Hughes said: “I’m looking to cover all bases for this key part of the season. Having another goalkeeper in case of injury is going to be vital.”
