John Haseldin wants a reaction from Holywell Town as they enter a make-or-break six-game run.

The Wellmen were below-par against champions Airbus last weekend, but that has been consigned to the history books with the focus on what's to come.

Haseldin's side entertain Porthmadog on Saturday, who thumped Gresford Athletic 6-0 last weekend, and the Holywell boss is staying positive.

"We need a reaction, we need to bounce back," said Haseldin.

"We've got three home games left and we need to take something from them.

"We've played well in games and been narrowly beaten or drawn, and if we can get a win it could prove to be a turning point."

Haseldin, who has "never shied away from a challenge", is confident his side can cause Porthmadog problems if they make some crucial adjustments.

"We've got to cut out conceding early goals," he continued.

"We are giving teams a head start and we can't keep doing that as heads start to drop.

"Porthmadog are a good footballing team who like to keep possession, but we were in the game at their place before losing 4-1, which looks like we've been well-beaten."

Aaron Pomeyie and Jon Jones could be handed starts as Haseldin looks to find that winning formula.
