ANDY MORRISON hopes the venue for Connah's Quay Nomads' Welsh Cup semi-final with Cardiff Met "suits both teams".
Holders Nomads will face Christian Edwards' capital-based outfit in the last four of the prestigious competition on the weekend of the month at a neutral stadium.
But with Nomads playing their home games on the Deeside Stadium's grass surface and Met's Cyncoed Campus a 3G pitch, the Football Association of Wales have a decision to make.
Newtown's Latham Park - a 3G surface - would be the obvious choice in terms of geography, but Morrison said: "Hopefully it’s a neutral ground that suits both teams.
"We play on grass and the other three play on 3G, so that’s a decision the authorities will have to make.
"But it doesn’t matter, we will be ready wherever we have to play."
Nomads, who beat Bangor City 6-1 at Rhyl's Belle Vue in last year's semi-finals, will face either The New Saints or Barry Town United in the final should they see off Cardiff Met.
