CONNAH'S QUAY NOMADS have strengthened their squad with the signing of Priestley Farquharson.
The 21-year-old defender makes the move from Hayes and Yeading, where he has made over 45 appearances in the past three seasons.
Farquharson, a former captain of Brunel University who also represents England's national beach football team, has signed an 18-month full-time contract at The Deeside Stadium.
Nomads boss Andy Morrison, who saw his side maintain their place at the top of the Welsh Premier League with a 6-1 success at Aberystwyth, said: "We're delighted to welcome Priestley to the club.
"He came highly recommended from our contacts in the London area. After a two week training camp it was a very easy decision to offer him a permanent full time deal."
Farquharson took to Twitter to express his delight at securing a move to Nomads.
He wrote: "Delighted to have signed for @the_nomads and can’t wait for the journey ahead."
