Connah's Quay Nomads have been handed another early Christmas present after Michael Bakare signed a new contract with the club.
Andy Morrison's men thumped Cardiff Met 6-1 on Saturday to secure their place at the top of the Welsh Premier League until Boxing Day at the earliest.
And now Bakare, who scored one of Nomads' six goals against Met, has penned a new one-year deal at the Deeside Stadium.
Former Wrexham attacker Bakare, one of Nomads' full-time professionals, said: "I'm very happy to have signed this extension and am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the growth of this club and it's full-time status.
"I am also looking forward to enjoying more success with the team this season and next."
