Promotion-chasing Chester have boosted their squad with the signing of French midfielder Elton Ngwatala.
The 26-year-old left AFC Fylde earlier this week after just three substitute appearances for the Coasters this season.
Prior to his spell with Fylde, the Frenchman made 88 appearances for Kidderminster Harriers in three seasons at Aggborough before sealing a move to Scottish Premiership side Dundee last year.
The Blues, who sit third in the National League North standings ahead of this weekend's clash with Bradford Park Avenue, confirmed that the deal is subject to FA and National League approval.
Chester joint-manager, Anthony Johnson said: “This is a major coup for our club. To get a player of Elton’s ability shows our progression both on and off the pitch.
“He was wanted by numerous clubs but chose Chester as he can see our ambition and what we’re building here.”
