ADRAN PREMIER champions Wrexham have bolstered their ranks with a new addition.
Joining the Reds is former England youth international Millie Davies.
Davies, a member of the Manchester City squad that won the 2018 FA Youth Cup, told the club: “I’m super excited and I’m very happy to be here. I was really happy when I heard about the interest from the club and I like the ambition that the club has.
“All the girls here are great. I knew a lot of them prior to joining and that helped in making the transition a little easier. I’ve been friends with Lucy Farrell for years so it’s good to be back with her.
“I’m definitely an attack minded player. I’m also a creative player so I can help on that side with the team.
“Playing in front of the fans on a weekly basis is going to be really fun. They bring a lot of energy, and they create a great atmosphere.”
Head coach Jenny Sugarman added: “Millie is an exciting addition to the squad, with her development pathway at Man City, England youth teams and Hofstra in the NCAA.
“She is technically strong, with a great left foot and is positionally flexible with nice attacking intent.”
