CONNAH’S QUAY NOMADS and Flint Town United know a triumphant Sunday will be close to guaranteeing their progress in this season’s Adran Trophy.
The Adran North programme doesn’t get underway until the end of the month, so trophy group stage matches are in the spotlight until then. Flint opened their Group One schedule with a brilliant 5-3 triumph over Llanfair United and they will be looking to make it two wins out of two as they host Felinheli.
Llanfair welcome Bangor City 1876 in the other group encounter, while Nomads will be keen to maintain their positivity in Group Two.
On the back of last week’s 5-1 win against Wrexham Foresters, Connah’s Quay are preparing for their trip to Berriew.
Foresters will be looking to bounce back during their trip to Llandudno.
The top two clubs from each group progresses to the round of 16.
Airbus pay a visit to Northop Hall in their next North East Wales League fixture. Buckley Town host Hawarden Park, Coedpoeth United entertain Connah’s Quay U19s and Northop Hall Reserves visit Wrexham Foresters Reserves.
