FOUR points from two tough away games in the space of just four days.
It’s just the kind of preparation for a big game under The Racecourse floodlights against a bottom-of-the-table Burnley team boosted by the arrival of Jamie Vardy.
Wrexham could have mauled Millwall’s Lions by even more goals but perhaps the most pleasing aspect was that Phil Parkinson made five changes for the all-Wales clash at Swansea City.
The Reds more than held their own against the leaders where it showed how many decent wing backs the Wrexham boss has at his disposal.
Ryan Longman came in for his first start of the season and did well but with Jacques Ekomie, Issa Kabore and Danny Imray waiting in the wings, it will be interesting to see the team sheet tonight.
The same can be said for up front where Kieffer Moore looks to be a certain starter and with Matty James and Ben Whiteman adding extra security in midfield, Lewis O’Brien can expect to play higher up the pitch again.
OUR PREDICTIONS:
WREXHAM 3 BURNLEY 1 NICK HARRISON
WREXHAM 2 BURNLEY 1 RICHARD WILLIAMS
WREXHAM 1 BURNLEY 1 SHAUN DAVIES
THE SCORES SO FAR... SHAUN DAVIES 5; NICK HARRISON 3; RICHARD WILLIAMS 0
