WREXHAM have completed the signing of defender Joe Worrall from Burnley for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance and registrations.
Worrall becomes Phil Parkinson’s sixth summer signing, penning a two-year contract, with an option for a further year.
The 29-year-old joins from fellow Championship side Burnley, where he made 27 appearances in all competitions, since joining The Clarets in summer 2024.
On signing for Wrexham, Worrall told the club: “I’m really pleased to be here. I’m super excited to get my teeth into working with good players, the manager and the ownership.
“I’m here to win football matches and achieve something special.
“Everything that Wrexham’s about, I'm going to throw myself into it head-first and give my all for this badge.”
Worrall started his career at boyhood club Nottingham Forest, helping them gain promotion to the Premier League, beating Huddersfield Town 1-0 in the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley in 2022.
Worrall was named in the Championship Team of the Season that same campaign, and wore the captain’s armband for Nottingham Forest’s first season back in the top-flight.

The centre-back has also had loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge, Rangers and Besiktas – winning the Turkish Cup with Besiktas in 2024, before heading to Turf Moor, where he won promotion to the Premier League.
On Worrall’s signing, manager Phil Parkinson said: “We’re delighted to welcome Joe to the Club.
“He’s an experienced centre half, with good leadership qualities, who’s been part of promotions out of this division.
“We look forward to welcoming him into the squad.”
