JAMIE EL-KALEH has thanked supporters for their backing as North Wales Crusaders reach the end of their tumultuous season.
Earlier this year, there were major doubts the club would make it to this stage, but Crusaders have successfully fulfilled their Championship fixtures under new ownership.
Last on the schedule is Sunday’s trip to Midlands Hurricanes, with Cru still working closely alongside the RFL to secure a licence to compete next season.
In an open letter, chairman El-Kaleh said: “I ask everyone connected with the club to remain positive, united and proud of what we represent.
“Every message of support, every conversation and every show of belief helps demonstrate why rugby league belongs in Wales.
“Our commitment has not wavered, and neither has our determination.
“We will continue to fight for this club, for our supporters and for the future of the sport in our country. Thank you for standings with us.”
It has been a testing campaign on and off the field for the club and Crusaders will be keen to put on a positive show for their supporters at Midlands, who are assured of a place in the end-of-season play-offs.
