GET ready for a big day on Sunday.
North Wales Crusaders’ final home match of the campaign will see them come up against Keighley Cougars.
Following a turbulent season on and off the pitch, Cru are using the occasion as a community day, when spectators can take advantage of free tickets.
Kick-off will be 3pm and as well as the Championship contest, there will be a masters festival, wheelchair rugby action, live music and the end of season awards.
It will be a celebration of the sport in the region, especially considering the tough situation the club found itself earlier this year.
There have been over 100 days since the club came under new ownership and a Crusaders’ statement said: “We have cleared the debts, rebuilt the squad, secured global investment, appointed strong leadership, improved our matchday facilities, boosted fan communication through forums and social media, and laid the foundations for long-term growth.
“We have saved the club from extinction, but survival was only ever the first step. The potential for rugby league in Wales is massive, and we are finally positioned to unlock it.
“Thank you to every fan, volunteer, sponsor, and player who has stood by us during this rebirth.”
Visit the club’s social media channels for information on the free tickets.
