BEN EVANS is delighted to be back at North Wales Crusaders in his new role.
Welsh international Evans has been appointed as the club’s new chief executive officer and he will be helping Crusaders to finish their year on a high.
There are four games remaining of the Championship season and next up is Sunday’s home encounter against Doncaster.
On his new appointment, Evans told the club’s website: “I’m incredibly excited to be joining North Wales Crusaders at such an important time for Welsh rugby league.
“Welsh rugby league has been identified by both the RFL and the NRL as a nation with huge potential that deserves greater investment and support.
“That creates a fantastic opportunity to build something special, and I’m proud to be part of that journey.
“Rugby league has given me an amazing career, and I’m passionate about giving something back.
“If I can help develop the next generation of Welsh talent, create clear pathways for young players, and ensure more homegrown players represent our club, then I’ll consider that a success.

Crusaders opened their final month of the campaign with a promising display in their 68-6 reverse against Goole Vikings last weekend.
It will be a tough home meeting with Doncaster, who are sixth in the table. With games in hand on all of the sides above them, Doncaster will be looking to achieve a top-four finish heading into the end-of-season play-offs.
Leaders London Broncos remain on course for a perfect season and they are at home to Goole on Sunday.
Second-placed Newcastle Thunder visit Batley Bulldogs and Oldham, in third, play host to Sheffield Eagles.
Rochdale Hornets and Midlands Hurricanes are at home to Whitehaven and Workington Town respectively, while Keighley Cougars travel to Hunslet.
Halifax Panthers welcome Barrow Raiders.
