BEN EVANS has returned to North Wales Crusaders in a crucial role.
Pictured above, former Welsh international Evans, who joined the club as a player in 2024, has been appointed as North Wales’ new chief executive officer.
He will bring to the role extensive experience from rugby league, alongside strong commercial knowledge and a clear passion for developing the game in Wales.
Evans will be tasked with leading the club’s strategic development, strengthen Crusaders’ commercial portfolio and help to establish new partnerships across North Wales and beyond.
It is the latest positive development for North Wales on the back of a tricky season in the Championship.
Crusaders came under new ownership earlier this year, safeguarding the future of the club, but things have been tricky on the field of play.
They sit at the foot of the Championship standings ahead of Sunday’s return to action at home to Goole Vikings.
This will begin the final month of the campaign for North Wales.
