CHESTER are just dealing in 2-0 scorelines when it comes to pre-season action!
The Blues started with a win over Vauxhall Motors, which was followed by a midweek loss at Fleetwood Town.
Chester’s third friendly run-out saw them get the better of Warrington 2-0, courtesy of second half efforts from Sam Reed and Nathan Woodthorpe.
Boss Phil Parkinson utilised plenty of his squad on the day, with 11 changes being made prior to the hour mark.
The Blues went in front in the 65th minute when a trialist set up Reed to poke in the opener.
Seven minutes later, Woodthorpe found the target from long-range to double the visitors’ advantage.
Chester’s pre-season preparations continue at home to Championship outfit Stoke City on Tuesday.
