MIKE GRADY felt there were positives to take from North Wales Crusaders’ latest match.

Crusaders managed to take the lead during their trip to Whitehaven in the Championship, but the Cumbrian hosts were able to turn things around to record an 80-12 success.

This followed a heavy 134-0 home reverse at the hands of league leaders London Broncos seven days earlier and head coach Grady told Cru TV: “Disappointing, obviously. The wrong end of a rough scoreline. There were positives to take, believe it or not - there was some positives during the game.

“We got over the line first and we caused some problems when we were in attack.”

Six minutes had elapsed when Ben Fisher grabbed a try from a deflected kick through and he also duly added the conversion points to this try.

Brad Billsborough came up with his side’s second try in the 31st minute and Fisher kicked the conversion.

Crusaders will be looking to build on these positive moments when they play host to Halifax Panthers this Sunday.
