A TOUGH away day will welcome Mold back to Division One North action.
Last season’s Division Two North champions will begin the new season on September 5 with a trip to Pwllheli, runners-up to champions Nant Conwy last time out.
Wrexham, who enjoyed a great season in the top-flight with a fourth-placed finish, are at home to newly promoted Newtown.
Mold’s first home match is against Wrexham on September 12, with the return being played at Bryn Estyn Road on December 19.
Wrexham end the season at COBRA on April 3, 2027. On the same day, Mold are away to Llangefni.
Wrexham Athletic won last season’s Division Three North East title and they will begin life in Division Two North with a trip to Welshpool on September 12.
Their first home game is versus Rhyl & District on September 19, while Wrexham Athletic complete their season at Nant Conwy Athletic on March 20.
There’s a big derby between Flint and Shotton Steel to open the Division Three North East campaign on September 5.
Mold Athletic pay a visit to Rhosllanerchrugog on the same day and COBRA Athletic welcome Bro Gwernant.
Cardiff prop Keiron Assiratti has been ruled out of Wales’ summer programme with a calf injury.
The 19-times capped tighthead suffered the injury in the United Rugby Championship quarter-final defeat to the Stormers last month.
Assiratti will miss Wales’ Nations Championship games against Fiji in Cardiff on July 4 and subsequent trips to Argentina and South Africa.
Wales have confirmed they will not be calling up any additional players with Dillon Lewis, Sam Wainwright and Ben Warren the remaining tighthead props in Steve Tandy’s squad.
