NORTH WALES CRUSADERS have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of loose forward Dom Horn until the end of the season.
Horn, 31, has previously had stints with Batley Bulldogs, Swinton Lions, Keighley Cougars and Hunslet, and he will come into contention for selection as Cru head to Batley in the Championship this weekend.
Head coach Sean Long (pictured) will be looking for another positive showing from his side on Sunday.
Horn told the club’s website: “When I spoke to Sean about coming to play for the Crusaders, I didn’t even hesitate to sign.
“Sean and all the staff here are wanting to take the club in the right direction again and happy to say I’ll be part of that process and get the club back up to where it belongs.”
Long, the recently appointed coach, added: “I am absolutely delighted to finally get Dom’s signature over the line.
“He is a player we have been monitoring closely and were actually looking to bring into the squad much earlier this year, so it’s fantastic to finally have him on board.
“Dom brings a wealth of experience from his time at clubs like Keighley, Swinton, and Hunslet, and that proven Championship and League One pedigree is exactly what we need.
“On the field, he is an incredibly tough, industrious player with a high work rate and a real physical presence. His arrival adds significant quality and depth to our ranks.”
