RGC just missed out on a place in the Super Rygbi Cymru Cup semi-finals, but they have secured a home semi-final in the Plate courtesy of their 54-19 success at home to Carmarthen Quins.
Pedr Jones (2), Connor Dever, Dion Jones, Delwyn Jones (2), Sam Williams and Osian Burt shared the tries for RGC, who will host Bridgend in the Plate.
Pontypool pipped RGC to second place in Pool A with their 31-19 win at Cardiff. In Pool B, Swansea beat Bridgend 45-29.
Caernarfon maintained their Division One North title aims with a 101-0 thrashing of basement side Welshpool. In Division Two North, Bro Ffestiniog edged out Dolgellau 12-8.
Wales broke their U20s Six Nations duck with a hard-fought 31-21 home success over Scotland.
After starting the tournament with defeats to England and France, it all came right for Richard Whiffin’s charges as tries from Luke Evans, Bailey Cutts, Dylan Scott and Tom Howe earned them a bonus point triumph.
Ireland prevailed 31-21 away to England, while France got the better of Italy 32-17.
