MUDDY MARVELS: It was derby day in the North Wales Youth League where Mold edged out Shotton 17-12.

Noah Birse, Haydn Millington and Oscar Lloyd got the Mold tries with Harri Morgan adding a conversion.

The score wasn’t important as Wrexham battled it out at their Crewe and Nantwich U16s counterparts.

Harry Mills was voted Wrexham’s player of the match.

Valkyries - the North Wales girls team - took on Ravens at U10s and the Rebels’ U12s, U14s and U16s sides.
