It’s a big weekend for RGC U18s with the start of the Academy Championship. First up is Sunday’s home encounter against Cardiff.
RGC have appointed Nick Fish as Academy forwards coach and Nathan Skupski as Academy physical development coach.
Fish brings a wealth of coaching experience to the programme, having recently served as forwards coach with Aberavon and Cardiff University, while Skupski was previously head of strength and conditioning with rugby league club Widnes Vikings.
RGC Academy manager Josh Leach told the club’s website: “It has been great to welcome Nick and Nathan to the Academy coaching team, they have gotten stuck in straight away and brought a good boost to the junior and senior Academy environments.
“This is an intense period for the Academy with SRC, U18 and U16 competitions all up and running through the next couple of months, and we will benefit hugely from having Nick and Nathan on board.”
