THERE was to be no late, late drama as Wrexham made a welcome return to winning ways.
After back-to-back late losses, things were comfortable in a 24-7 Division One North triumph away to Llangefni.
Jacob Hughes’ 18th minute penalty had the visitors in the lead, but Llangefni struck back within five minutes courtesy of a converted try.
That’s as good as it got for the Anglesey side, with Wrexham able to build-up a healthy advantage by the time the half-time whistle was sounded.
Tom Walker went over for two tries in the final 10 minutes of the half, both of which were converted by Hughes.

In a faultless display, McBryde was on the money with all six of his conversion attempts during the afternoon and he also kicked four penalties for good measure as RGC comfortable made sure of their second league success of the season.
While Bridgend picked up a bonus point from their efforts, they have now replaced RGC at the foot of the league standings.
Carmarthen Quins won 28-19 at Aberavon in the other contest, moving them into second place in the standings.
