PHIL PARKINSON has hinted at making changes for Wednesday's Championship clash against Oxford United at The Racecourse.
The Reds suffered a 1-0 defeat against Stoke City at The bet365Stadium on Saturday with Wales international Sorba Thomas scoring the only goal of the game in the 36th minute.
Although he could not fault the effort, Parkinson felt his side could have done better in the second half when they failed to threaten an equaliser.
It was the first of seven league and cup games in 22 days before the next international break and Parkinson could be ready to freshen it up when Wrexham, 18th in the table and without a win in four league games, host the U's who are one place below the Reds.
"I think it would be unrealistic to say the same group of players are going to play in the next six games before the next international break," said Parkinson, who named an unchanged side at Stoke
"We've got to utilise the squad. Ollie Rathbone came back on the bench today, Libby Cacace's come on and it is great to see him back.
"We need to just analyse the performance, look at it and not get too down about it.
"I think it's good to be frustrated, though. I think it is good to be a bit annoyed.
"We don't want to have pats on the back and say 'we've come to Stoke and done okay'.
"We should have got something from it in my eyes, and we didn't do that, but they're a great group of lads.
"They are working so hard for us in training but we just didn't quite find that moment.
"I am excited about what we've got in the building, I really am. We have taken a knock today, but we'll come back fighting on Wednesday."

Parkinson remained confident Wrexham could get something out of the game in the second half but admits his side came up short.
"We have got to also be looking at ourselves because in the second period, the opportunities were there were to test the goalkeeper and be more clinical when we needed to be," he added.
"We're disappointed that we've come to Stoke, a really established Championship team who've been fighting to get out of this division for a lot of years, in front of 20 plus thousand, and we're disappointed we've come away with nothing."
