PHIL PARKINSON is delighted to finally got his man and he feels Kieffer Moore will offer Wrexham something different at the top end of the pitch.
The Wales international has joined from Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal keeping him at The Racecourse until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Parkinson, who has brought in eight new signings ahead of the new Championship campaign which kicks-off with Saturday's trip to Southampton. is not short of attacking options but he felt it was important to land Moore, a 6' 5" frontman who has twice been promoted from the second tier with AFC Bournemouth and Ipswich Town.
"Kieffer is someone we looked at in the early part of the summer but some deals take a while," said Parkinson.
"I just feel he gives us something different, a different option at the top of the pitch.
"I am pleased Kieffer has come on board, there is a nice story there with the Welsh connection.
"I really like his character, he plays with great honesty and I am looking forward to getting to know him.
"He has been part of successful teams and he knows his way around the Championship.
"What we like about him is he is a good team player and we are going to need options."
