PHIL PARKINSON was left counting the cost as more players sustained knocks in Wrexham's disappointing 2-0 defeat at Reading on Tuesday night.
The automatic League One promotion hopes took a dent following the loss and Parkinson, without midfielder George Dobson for the second game in a row because of an ankle problem, has other injury worries to contend with.
"There's a few knocks," said the Reds' boss.
"Ollie Rathbone played but Dobson wasn't quite right, Sebastian Revan has twisted his ankle a little bit and Ryan Barnett's got clattered towards the end twice which doesn't look too good.
"There are several things we need to assess quickly."
Parkinson elected to name Mo Fall among the substitutes as an attacking option with Jack Marriott failing to make the squad along with fellow strikers Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer.
"I just thought Mo deserved the chance and he did well when he got on," added Parkinson.
"He's trained really well and he got a goal last time he started for us.
"I felt with these a bit vulnerable for crosses.....we didn't get enough in the box in the first half.
"One brilliant one from James McClean, Barney came in at the back-stick and the lad's cleared it off the line was probably the big moment for us."
There are 10 games remaining in the quest for an historic third promotion in a row but midfielder Andy Cannon will miss the run-in with a ruptured ACL which has required surgery.
