MOLD picked up two bonus points from the trip to Bala to boost their battle against relegation from Division One North.
The Chester Road side were defeated 36-29 during their trip to Maes Gwyniad, while a four-try haul saw Mold claim a second bonus point to move four points clear of the bottom-two.
Tom Hellen crossed for a brace of tries and there was a score apiece for Richard Hopkins and Joseph Hughes.
Wrexham’s tough encounter away to title chasing Pwllheli resulted in a 40-17 reverse.
Despite the eventual outcome, it was Wrexham who made the better start and Sam Jones grabbed a converted try in the third minute.
Third-placed Pwllheli quickly responded with a brace of tries of their own, one of which was converted, while Wrexham were within two points of their hosts when Callum Riordan crossed the whitewash in the 17th minute.
Two further tries ensured Pwllheli had a bonus point inside the opening half-an-hour and there was no way back for the visitors.
They refused to throw in the towel, though, and Jacob Hughes converted his own try in the final quarter-of-an-hour.
Leaders Nant Conwy maintained their seven-point advantage at the top thanks to their 99-0 thrashing of basement side Denbigh.
Second-placed Caernarfon eased to a 45-12 success at home to Bethesda, while Ruthin lost out 11-0 at COBRA.
In the closest match-up, Llangefni pipped hosts Llandudno 23-20.
Wrexham Athletic extended their lead at the top of Division Three North East to 15 points via a 26-0 home success versus COBRA Athletic.
Wrexham enjoyed the ideal opening with early tries from Mike Moore, Ethan Hughes and Rhys Cartwright, two of which were converted by Jack Jones.
Jones also added the extras to Hughes’ second try of the match in the closing quarter-of-an-hour.
Welshpool made sure of the Division Two North crown courtesy of their 29-20 triumph against Teirw Nant Conwy.
Colwyn Bay climbed to second spot as they won 29-21 versus Dolgellau, while Rhyl & District eased to a 43-18 margin at home to Caernarfon Athletic.
Elsewhere, Abergele picked up a 32-16 triumph against Newtown.
RGC suffered their first Super Rugby Cymru Cup loss of the campaign in a heavy 61-28 outcome at home to Llandovery.
It was an afternoon to forget for the North Walians as Llandovery ran in nine tries, capitalising on an error-filled performance from RGC in which they cruised to an emphatic win.
RGC, who won their opening two cup matches, had tries from Connor Dever, Caio Parry and Sam Stoddard (2) to at least pick up a bonus point.
Elsewhere in Pool A, Bridgend got the better of Cardiff 27-19.
Newport made it two wins out of two in Pool B with a 47-26 verdict at home to Carmarthen Quins, while Ebbw Vale triumphed 18-13 at Pontypool.
