FEBRUARY is a sparse month when it comes to fixtures, so clubs in the region will be eager to make the most of their opportunities tomorrow.
Wrexham will continue their quest to stave off the threat of relegation from Division One North with a tough away day.
Two points from safety, Wrexham are preparing for their long trek to third-placed Pwllheli, who are within touching distance of league frontrunners.
Although they will be underdogs, Wrexham will go into the contest on the back of a heartening 36-17 success at home to Bala at the beginning of the month.
Wrexham skipper Jack Harrison said: “The boys face a tough trip to Pwllheli this weekend, who will fancy themselves with a shot at the title alongside Nant and Caernarfon.
“In recent weeks we’ve put in some good performances against the top two sides and backed it up with a good win against Bala last time out.
“The challenge will be to carry that momentum on and make sure we continue to do the things that got us those positive performances.
“If we can do that and stick to the key elements of our game then hopefully we can get a result.”
Mold are also involved in the relegation battle and they sit just outside the bottom-two as the business end of the campaign fast approaches.
They will head to Maes Gwyniad tomorrow for their match-up with Bala, who are looking to achieve a top-four finish this season.
Nant Conwy will be strong favourites to get the better of basement side Denbigh, while second-placed Caernarfon welcome Gwynedd rivals Bethesda.
Ruthin are on their travels to COBRA and the remaining match sees Llandudno hosting Llangefni.
Wrexham Athletic will be looking to strengthen their position at the head of the Division Three North East rankings.
Next up for the front-runners is tomorrow’s home clash with COBRA Athletic, while Rhosllanerchrugog are looking forward to the visit of Mold Athletic.
Llangollen-based Bro Gwernant head to Denbigh Athletic and second-placed Llanidloes host Ruthin Athletic.
There’s a battle of the top-two lined-up in Division Two North. Second-placed Teirw Nant Conwy are faced with an away day at leaders Welshpool.
Colwyn Bay, in third, welcome Dolgellau, Abergele entertain Newtown and Caernarfon Athletic head to Rhyl & District.
RGC will be looking to bounce back from last week’s 34-26 loss away to Cardiff when they return to their Super Rugby Cup schedule tomorrow with a home clash against Llandovery.

Assistant coach Afon Bagshaw told the club’s website: “The game was there for us to win today, but we couldn’t put it together for the whole game.
“We started slow but came into the match after 10 minutes and had a good spell in that first half. Some lapses in concentration, silly penalties cost us.
“At one point, we were on their line, gave a penalty away and a minute later they are down the field at our posts.
“For us, we need to take these learnings and keep progressing. If we do that, then with a home crowd against Llandovery we can look forward to next Saturday in the cup.”
The other Pool A tie sees Cardiff at Bridgend.
In Pool B, there are home matches for Newport and Pontypool, against Carmarthen Quins and Ebbw Vale respectively.
