PHIL PARKINSON put the finishing touches on his squad before the winter transfer window closed and he says everyone has got a part to play as Wrexham aim to clinch an unprecedented third successive promotion.
The Reds' completed three new signings before Monday's deadline with winger Ryan Longman and strikers Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez arriving at The Racecourse.
With a number of players moving on such as James Jones, Anthony Forde, Billy Waters and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, and his updated squad-list due to be submitted to the EFL, Parkinson knows who he has got to work with between now at the end of the season.
Wrexham, currently third in League One and eight points behind leaders Birmingham City but only four adrift of second placed Wycombe Wanderers, have 17 games remaining.
There is no game this weekend but the Reds go into the break boosted by Saturday's 2-1 victory at lowly Crawley Town when Elliot Lee headed home a 95th minute winner from fellow-substitute Longman's cross.
Parkinson hailed the impact made by his replacements and he was also pleased with the reaction to the win by players not even named in the squad who he says will be needed between now and the end of the campaign.
"I was really pleased for the substitutes," said the Reds' boss.
"Ryan Longman coming on and producing moments of quality.
"That's what we brought him in for and obviously Elliot getting a goal.
"We said in the dressing room to the lads about how we've always been about the squad and the group, typified by all the lads who weren't in the team and their reaction.
"The lads in the dressing room and all the lads who didn't make the the bench like George Evans and Jacob Mandy were right with us and that's what we've always been about.
"We can't reiterate that more than anything. We've got a lot of games left and everyone's going to be utilised."
Wrexham, who don't play on Saturday because scheduled opponents Leyton Orient are on FA Cup duty, are back in league action away at Northampton Town on Saturday February 15, with the game being shown live on Sky Sports+ with a 12.30pm kick-off.
