PHIL PARKINSON admits there are a "lot of decisions to be made" over possible comings and goings when the January transfer window opens.
Wrexham drew 2-2 with lowly Cambridge United at The Racecourse on Saturday after conceding a late equaliser and are third in League One, two points behind leaders Wycombe Wanderers.
With a strong squad already at his disposal, Parkinson has hinted at ins and outs to ensure the Reds maintain their lofty league position in the new year.
"January comes and that process is ongoing always because we've got players on loan who could come back," he said.
"We've got other players who've been out the frame and may want to go so there's a lot of decisions to be made.
"My job is to to sit down with everybody and make sure we make the right ones and keep the momentum we've got."
Despite not picking up another win at The Racecourse, Wrexham remain unbeaten at home and have taken 41 points from 20 games this season.
Parkinson says there can be no let up from his side in pursuit of an unprecedented third successive promotion.
"Obviously we're not at the halfway point yet but it's just maintaining the standards we've set and that's what we will aim to do," he said.
"We're always evolving as a team and learning about the league and the players we are coming up against.
"It is just maintaining standards every game and look at it when it doesn't quite go our way, what can we do better which we will do from today.
"But all in all, the points tally from the games has been outstanding from us, we've got some really good players and the squad is strong.
"Who knows, we might even improve that in January."
Co-chairman Ryan Reynolds was in attendance along with fellow Hollywood star Canning Tatum and Billie Joe Armstrong - lead vocalist of rock band Green Day.
"I had a catch-up with Ryan before the game, it was great to see him," added Parkinson.
"It is always a bit special when Ryan's over here because he's the joint owner of the football club and it's good to have a chat with him,
"Obviously I am in touch with Rob and Ryan through texting as we go along because they like to be updated all the time.
"But it was good to have to have a chat and just a shame we couldn't get the points for him."
