THE second half of the Tillwise Summer League season has got underway with a number of thrilling encounters.

An amazing encounter at Cae Nant concluded with Caerwys gaining a 6-4 success versus Llandyrnog.

Goals from Mitchell Hebson, Andy Price, Shaun Thompson, Kieran Davies, Kyle de Lloyd and Jac Glover sealed the deal for Caerwys, while Craig Jones (2), Pat Hinchcliffe and Eddie Evans kept Llandyrnog interested.

Leaders Llanrhaeadr halted a two-match losing run with a 6-0 triumph over Rhewl.

Llyr Morris (3), Rhys Rowlands (2) and Meilir Williams made sure of Llanrhaeadr's ninth win of the campaign, while Rhewl keeper Johan Dyer was outstanding.

Cefn and Nantglyn, who are fourth and second respectively, played out a 1-1 draw. Jake Walker was on the mark for Cefn, while Ifan Batty struck for Nantglyn.

Will Hughes and Lewys Turner made sure of Clawddnewydd's 2-1 win at Llanfair, who hit back via Matty Pleavin.

Ysceifiog's match with Llangynhafal was postponed, while Henllan opened their winning account for the season with two triumphs over Trefnant.

Brychan Clwyd Edwards (2), Sam Jones (2), Aled Hughes (2) and Owen Davies made sure of a 7-2 home with on Wednesday, as Steffan Jones and Joe Brierley responded for Trefnant.

Then, on Friday, Elgan Roberts, Dewi Jones, Thomas Jones and Mathew Jones led Henllan to a 4-0 outcome.
