IT’S a big weekend of cup final action in North Wales.

Tomorrow, Wrexham Seconds tackle Machynlleth in the final of the Division Three Cup.

“It’s a big day for the club and the second team in particular, they’ve worked really hard over the course of the season and deserve a chance to have a crack in the final,” said Wrexham first team skipper Jack Harrison.

“They’ve had a few really good results over the past few weeks and should take confidence from that going into the game at the weekend. Mach are a good side and have earnt promotion, but it’s a cup final, anything can happen.

“We’ve got a couple of buses going over to Colwyn Bay so we’re hoping it’s going to be a really good day for the club.”

Also tomorrow, Caernarfon take on Nant Conwy in the final of the Division One Cup, while the women’s Premiership Cup final is a match-up between COBRA and Caernarfon.

On Sunday, Colwyn Bay tackle Welshpool in the men’s Division Two Cup final and Abergele meet Machynlleth in the women’s Intermediate Cup final.

Shotton Steel completed their Division Two North season with a 57-0 midweek loss to Rhyl & District, while Flint were beaten 63-5 by Machynlleth in Division Three North East.

Tomorrow, Llanidloes visit Llangollen-based Bro Gwernant in Division Three North East, while Llandovery take on Newport in the Premiership final.
