YOU'RE only here for the Wrexham!

Reds supporters have travelled up and down the country in big numbers this season, watching Phil Parkinson's men clinch a top-three finish in League Two and make it back-to-back promotions for the first time in the club's history.

Parkinson has liked away matches to cup finals for the opposition and the home club's fans have certainly turned out in big numbers when Wrexham are in town.

Wrexham played 23 games away from The Racecourse in 2023-24 and 16 clubs attracted their highest league attendance of the campaign for the fixture against the Reds.

MK Dons, Doncaster Rovers, Crewe Alexandra, Crawley Town, Bradford City, Walsall, Morecambe, Tranmere Rovers, Accrington Stanley, Newport County, Swindon Town, Salford City, Grimsby Town, Colchester United, Sutton United and Forest Green Rovers had their largest crowds against the Reds.

The other seven fixtures on the road against Stockport County, Mansfield Town, Barrow, AFC Wimbledon, Gillingham, Harrogate and Notts County were also well-supported with the home club enjoying one of their biggest attendances of the season for the clash with Wrexham.

Big away followings have boosted attendances but home fans have also flocked through the turnstiles when their side entertain Wrexham.

"We have brought a lot of revenue into clubs," said Parkinson.

"You look at the game at Colchester, it was a sell-out ground and that was like three home games rolled into one for them."

Wrexham's home games are a sell-out and the highest attendance at The Racecourse this season was on Saturday when 12,562 supporters saw the Reds come from behind to beat champions Stockport County 2-1 to secure runners-up spot.

The Reds' average attendance was 11,210 ranking them second in the division behind Bradford City (17,547).
