ALTHOUGH they missed out on securing national glory, it’s still been a brilliant season for Connah’s Quay Nomads U19s.
Nomads, the Adran U19s North champions this season, lost out 4-0 to Barry Town United in the all-Wales championship showdown at Newtown’s Latham Park.
A post on the club’s X site said: “You’ve done the club proud, you’ve done the North proud, you’ve done your family and friends proud and you’ve certainly done yourselves proud.”
Scarlett Davies had Barry in front right on the stroke of half-time, while Megan-Ruby Clarke claimed a second half hat-trick.
