JULIET COLLIS won the fierce battle for top player as Northop Hall Jets U14s claimed victory over battling Broughton United in North East Wales Girls League U15s’ division action.

Collis claimed five goals in the double-figures success, with four-goal Lily Manchester also making her mark. Lily Davis (2) and Hayley-Jo Vel added the others, as Olivia Bateman and Maisie Guy replied.

Lexi Jones (3), Darra Craig (2), Georgia Payne, Evie Hughes and Summer Dakin led Buckley Town U14s to an 8-0 outcome at Mynydd Isa U14s, while there were 7-0 wins for Airbus U14s and Acton U14s, versus Brickfield Rangers and Corwen respectively.

Faye Hand (3), Niamh Makin (2), Elise Fawkes and Astrid Gruber netted for Airbus, with Lexi Weaver (2), Chloe Ridley, Casey Armstrong, Maisie Sutcliffe, Daisy Willons and Layla Williams on target for Acton.

Catlin Gerrard (2), Laila Orneville, Leah Stinchcomb and Megan Albiston settled the derby clash 5-2 in favour of Northop Hall against the club’s Falcons U14s. Kacey Roberts and Evie Brown replied for the Falcons.

In the U13s’ section and efforts from Olivia Pugh (3), Tilly Jones (2), Lili Taylor, Brianna Doughty, Layla Davies, Erin Porter, Teagan Jones, Lexie Waring and Bethan Burke led Brymbo Lodge to a double-figure win over Mynydd Isa.

Mia Pryce’s hat-trick helped to make it a Lodge double as the U12s defeated Saughall Panthers 6-2.

Isla Richards (2) and Millie Eason added the others, with Azaria Prince and Belle Chaloner on the mark for Panthers.

Willow Powell’s treble settled Brickfield Rangers U12s’ 3-0 outcome at Ruthin, while Jessica Bowen has another hat-trick heroine in Corwen’s 6-0 success versus Mynydd Isa Spartans.
