CARL FORSTER says North Wales Crusaders are in a good place despite seeing their unbeaten run in League One come to an end.

Following three victories on the bounce, Crusaders suffered a 22-6 reverse during Sunday’s trip to fellow unbeaten outfit Keighley Cougars.

Following the weekend, North Wales remain third in League One and Forster (pictured above) told the club’s website: “We’re in the thick of things now, with games coming week after week.

“That gives us the opportunity to take stock of ourselves this week and get into Rochdale at home this weekend and hopefully back to winning ways.

“I think if at the start of the season you’d given us four games in, third place and two points off top down to a narrow defeat away at Keighley then nobody would be disappointed with that.

“For me, I know we’ve probably got another 20 per cent in us as well, so we’ll be looking for that to come in the next few weeks as we play Rochdale and Hunslet, who are both going to be contesting for those play-off places with us come the end of the season.”
