WREXHAM WOMEN’S league season is over but all focus is now on the forthcoming Welsh Women’s Cup final at Newport’s Rodney Parade on May 5.
Wrexham will face league champions Cardiff City, who hammered them 5-1 in the Adran Premier last Sunday. Reds defender Keren Allen said: “I think there’s a lot of preparation needed.
“I think everybody needs to look at their own performance and their performances throughout this whole season, myself included, and just pick out key areas of improvement.
“We’ve got a good bit of time now where we can use the sport scientist, use the analyst, just really work on it in training and give a good account of ourselves.”
Cardiff will aim to put some more silverware in the trophy cabinet when they take on arch rivals Swansea City in Sunday’s Adran Trophy final.
