WREXHAM certainly stamped their authority in their top-of-the-table tussle with Mansfield Town.

Paul Mullin’s double earned the Reds striker the Sky Sports man of the match award but young defender Max Cleworth was awesome at the back.

ARTHUR OKONKWO: The keeper only had one save to make and it was a crucial one at the start of the second half. 7

LUKE BOLTON: Had a good game and won the crucial penalty - even if the foul was outside the box. 7

MAX CLEWORTH: The young defender is getting better game by game. His defensive display was faultless and his exquisite pass from the back led to Wrexham's opener. 9

EOGHAM O'CONNELL: Another defender who impressed at the back. Always looks calm and composed. 8

WILL BOYLE: Played his part in keeping Mansfield at bay, winning headers and making key tackles. 7

JAMES McCLEAN: Could easily have been red carded for a clumsy challenge early. But was assured in defence and attack after that. 7

ANDY CANNON: Set up Paul Mullin's opening goal and was as combative as ever in midfield. 7

TOM O'CONNOR: Got better as the game went on and will be pleased with his contribution. 7

ELLIOT LEE: Had a quiet game by his normally exceptional standards. 6

PAUL MULLIN: Scored twice to take him up to 99 goals for Reds. Good job there was a net on the goal as he penalty blast would have rocked The Racecourse foundations. 8.

OLLIE PALMER: Didn't get the sniff of a chance up front but put a decent shift in. 6

SUBSTITUTES

STEVEN FLETCHER: Made a nuisance of himself after replacing Palmer 6.

RYAN BARNETT: Came on for Bolton and was positive going forward. 6

GEORGE EVANS: A late replacement for Lee. 5

JACK MARRIOTT: Came on for Mullin in the latter stages. 5
